Authentic Sumatra projects are focused on three different grand subjects, i.e., organizing tours, Ricky’s Beach House, and community projects.

Community projects are the key to setting up an applicable education based on needs to develop the right mindset for the next understandable generation to be aware of keeping the environment for a better future.

Our project includes a Youth Development Centre where the youth and children from our village and others have the opportunity to learn about linguistics, science, tech, art, music, sport, and social culture. Those subjects are importantly required to face the new future!

We are also providing financial support with school fees, kits, and lodging in Padang for those who are in high schools.

We also set up turtle and marine projects since 2016, which are initiatively aimed at preserving the turtle population, coral reef, and ocean-free plastic in the fishing village of Nagari Sungai Pinang. This project is not just about conservation; it is also about raising awareness and educating the local inhabitants about the importance of ecological matters.
